Allee and Kingwood Hall Forecourt

The centerpiece to any wedding is the bride's dramatic procession to her waiting groom, and the long, grassy Allee makes this an unforgettable walk.  The Allee is framed by lush beds of flowers and overflowing hanging baskets. Guests can be seated either on the grass or on the Forecourt in front of Kingwood Hall.

South Terrace and Lawn

A stone terrace skirts the south facade of Kingwood Hall and opens out onto a broad, level lawn.  Many of Mr. King's summer parties were held here, and today Kingwood's garden parties are held here.  The ample lawn is ideally situated for a wedding ceremony.  The backdrop of Mr. King's mansion will add style and grace to your event.

Gazebo Garden

Flowering vines climb the Gazebo, and billowing flowers and foliage overflow the surrounding beds.  Rippling down the center of this garden is a rill, a narrow water feature. This secluded haven is a wish-book setting for your special day.

Exhibit Hall

Combining outdoor beauty with indoor comfort, the Exhibit Hall is Kingwood's most versatile venue.  Large windows look out over the cascading roses of Kingwood's Rose Garden.  Here, Nature is the florist and guests will feel as if they are in a garden even though they are indoors.

Kingwood Hall Assembly Room

Originally Mr. King's ballroom, the Assembly Room has a stately terrazzo floor. Opening onto a terrace looking out onto a wooded lawn, this room is an indoor setting with an outdoor feel. Your guests will also be able to leisurely tour the Foyer and the second floor of Mr. King's former home.

Kingwood Hall Foyer

This elegant entrance to Kingwood's mansion has sleek terrazzo floors and a gracefully spraying fountain with a mirrored backdrop.  The curved stairway provides a dramatic way for brides to process to the ceremony.
