HAVE YOUR MEETING/SALE/SHOW AT KINGWOOD CENTER
Kingwood Center offers rentals of its facility for meetings.
Description of Meeting Rooms: (all located adjacent to the greenhouse)
Meeting Hall:
Used for shows, sales, large meetings and lectures
Stage available for use, includes projection screen
Has attached kitchen facilities (refrigerator, sink, microwave)
Set up with tables will hold a maximum of 120 people
Lecture style will hold up to 200 people
Exhibit Hall:
Used for shows and sales
Unheated, for summer use only
Unable to darken room for projectors
No kitchen facilities available (sink only)
Set up with tables will hold a maximum of 120 people
Lecture style will hold up to 200 people
Workshop:
Used for sales, show set-up
Limited use, set up by request only
Unable to darken room for projectors
Public access during regular hours
Meeting Room Rates: Non-KC Mission Related Organizations KC Mission Related
1 to 20 people $100 $50
21 to 40 people $150 $75
41 to 100 people $200 $100
KC Mission-related groups have the option to receive their meeting room at no charge:
however, club members who are not Kingwood members or volunteers are subject to the
admission fee of $5.
Parking/Admission for all attendees is included in the Room Rental Fee.
Payment is due at least two weeks before the meeting date.
Equipment Available:
Coffee Pot: 30 cup, 55 cup, 90 cup
Tables: 6 foot, 8 foot, 3 foot
Projectors: 35 mm slide projector, digital projector, VCR
Rules:
Kingwood must be notified in advance of cancellations or changes in plans
Rooms will be opened according to the arrival time shown on the reservation sheet;
a representative of your group must be present at this time
Clubs are not permitted to change the room arrangemnet without permission
Clubs are expected to clean up the room (and coffee pots) before leaving
No smoking or flame of any kind is permitted in any Kingwood building
