CHRISTMAS IS ALL PACKED UP AT KINGWOOD CENTER |
The participating 14 area garden clubs, volunteers and staff have packed up all the beautiful decorations gracing Kingwood this Holiday Season. Many hours were spent decorating and many more spent organizing, inventorying and packing the many decorations used. All items purchased with Kingwood funds are stored in the attic of the mansion for possible use in future years. Many of the garden clubs donate their decorations or use their own to save Kingwood the expense of purchasing new. Kingwood staff have carefully stowed away hand-made and purchased items that have been used many times--and may possibly be used many times in the future. We hope you had a chance to see the lovely exhibit that makes Kingwood a special Holiday treat.

PHILADELPHIA INTERNATIONAL FLOWER SHOW TRIP |
Kingwood Center invites you to be a part of a special tour to experience the world famous Philadelphia International Flower Show, Longwood Gardens, and Winterthur Museum and Gardens. Join Head Gardener Bill Collins and visit the largest indoor flower show in the world, as well as touring two other horticultural display gardens. GINGERBREAD HOUSE WINNER
AT KINGWOOD |
Kingwood Center was filled with the scent of gingerbread during the Holidays thanks to the families and individuals who entered our "Gingerbread House Contest". Almost everyone who visited Kingwood voted for their favorite entry and the overwhelming winner pictured above was submitted by the Taylor-Roush families. Congratulations to all who entered and helped make such a special feature this Christmas.
